When I saw this picture, it completely ruined it for me. For those of you who don't know, I own the same Amsterdam tshirt - you can admire it here. It's a real shame because I really love that tshirt and I wear it all the time, cuz I hear black makes you look slimmer. Which is true. The only consolation to this crap is the fact that I'll very probably be able to buy a new one when I visit them souvenir shops later this year. I mean, I really don't get it, there are literally hundreds of souvenir shops and they ALL have tshirts for sale, most of them are, of course, stupid, but there's very little chance that two guys from Bucharest get the same model of souvenir tshirt from Amsterdam, out of thousands of models, and one of those guys is me.
Also, there's one other tshirt that I won't be wearing very soon, but I reserve the final verdict for when I lose some weight, it might be able to fit too good to give it up. Mine is the Sinatra sketch, which I bought last year with Irina and I really loved it until recently.
Well, I still have the Threadless tshirts, which are unfortunately becoming more and more popular. It's not that I don't like it, but, as you probably figured out by now, I simply can't be caught wearing the same shit as someone else, not ever! Never ever! I saw Nihasa in pictures and such and he owns two tshirts that I have. Hope I never run into him!

referitor la postul anterior cu scrierea corecta, poate ar trebui sa scrii in engleza cand stapanesti limba cum trebuie. tu aici faci o amestecatura de engleza americana cu britanica si slang si traducere din romana in engleza, care nu prea merge intr-un articol. e ca si cum ai vorbi romaneste jumate cu accent ardelenesc si cealalta jumate cu accent de bucuresti. nu suna bine. deci practic tot numai cei care vorbesc romaneste si citesc ce scrii vor intelege exact ce vrei tu sa spui, pentru ca apare reflexul de a traduce in propria limba. un vorbitor nativ poate ar intelege 60-70% din mesaj. te rog sa nu te superi, take is as positive criticism.
pai daca nu ma insel vorbitorii lor nativi sunt mai prosti ca ai nostri (ne-nativi) dar sigur, o sa iau in considerare.

nu zici 'model of tshirt', asta e furculicion, deci practic traducere din romana. 'model' spui pentru car model, care reprezinta un tip/ categorie. la t-shirts, folosesti design. deci nu e 'the same model of souvenir tshirt', ci 'the same t-shirt design' - asa (mi se pare mie ca) suna bine.

si faptul ca vorbitorii lor nativi sunt mai prosti ca ai nostri, nu e o scuza pentru tine sa nu scrii corect. probabil cei care ti-ar citi tie blogul, ar fi oameni care si-ar da seama ca ceva suna aiurea. si chiar daca nu au notiuni de gramatica, au o alta ureche pt limba. spre deosebire de tine, care mergi pe ideea ca sunt 'mai prosti', ei ar trece cu vederea, in ideea ca nu esti vorbitor nativ, si probabil ar demonstra o oarecare toleranta, poate chiar admiratie pentru efort.
nu ma intelege gresit, nu incerc sa o fac pe interesantul aici. singurul motiv pentru care m-am gandit sa comentez e ca banuiesc ca incerci sa faci un exercitiu de scriere. si ca orice scriitor, ma gandesc ca ai nevoie de feedback pentru imbunatarire. daca vrei sa-ti imbunatatesti scrisul, recomand lectura in engleza. carti, nu alte chestii. cu timpul ajungi sa-ti formezi o ureche, si poti sa faci distinctie intre nuante: egleza britanica si americana, proper English si limbajul colocvial, umor, ironie si sarcasm in engleza britanica si cea americana, pt ca sunt diferite. cam asa ajungi sa iti alegi cuvintele potrivite pentru a transmite exact ceea ce doresti.
sa zicem ca alea mici au fost intentionale, nu poti sa-mi spui redneck doar pt ca am folosit o constructie de-a lor. in rest, da. oarecum m-am grabit cand le-am scris, au fost mai multe unu dupa altul si le-am programat sa fie publicate.
nu am antrenament ce-i drept, dar asta n-a fost nimic de genul asta. am dat ielts si am luat 7 la scris, am uitat ce inseamna 7.
si o sa fac scientific writing in english la master!
si te rog nu comenta la urmatorul, pot sa ma corectez si singur la a doua-treia citire, nu-i problema. oricum n-o s-o mai fac.

felicitari pt ielts si pt master! ma bucur ca o sa faci scientific writing, ca asa o sa-ti dai seama ca nu are nici in clin nici in maneca cu scrierile literare.
ma, nu mai presupune ca eram ironic, eu chiar vorbeam serios. am programat mai multe posturi sa apara unul dupa altul si cele doua in engleza au fost scrise in graba consecutiv. so it's ok, nu ma atac, ideea ta a fost inteleasa. si n-o s-o mai fac, adica sa scriu in engleza, pentru ca intr-adevar e mai bine in romana si intamplator imi si iese mai bine.
Daca iti zic ca si seful meu are unu la fel , chiar iti stric ziua , nu?
